Everton in the Community - Walking Football

Walking Football is a great way to rediscover your love for playing the beautiful game at a slower pace, whilst keeping fit, having fun, making new friends and learning new skills.

Everton in the Community hosts a number of Walking Football programmes to encourage people to remain physically and socially active playing football, albeit at a slightly slower pace.

The free-to-attend weekly football sessions are delivered by qualified Everton in the Community coaches at the People’s Hub all-weather astro-turf pitch. Training sessions are fun and open to all regardless of your ability whether you’ve played before or giving it a go for the first time.

For those with a more competitive nature, the programme has an official Everton Walking Football team that compete in local, regional and national tournaments.

Participants on the programme also get the opportunity to meet current and former Everton players, attend exclusive stadium tours and engage in the range of social activities and events provided.
