‘Isolating, not Isolated’ with vital help for Sefton residents
If you are self-isolating after testing positive for Covid, or for coming into contact with someone who has, volunteers from Sefton CVS are there to help you as part of Sefton’s self-isolation support service. This useful service also includes Sefton Council and local NHS Client Commissioning groups.
Under the banner of ‘Isolating, not Isolated’, the service recently launched a campaign to encourage local residents to get in touch if they need support. You can call the service on 0345 140 0845, making sure you choose OPTION 3 to speak to a member of the team as quickly as possible, to receive advice, support and guidance with the following:
- financial support if you are on low income and unable to work from home (Test and Trace Support Payment Scheme);
- accessing food, whether through priority delivery slots for your grocery shopping or access to your local foodbank;
- help with mental health as you deal with loneliness and boredom;
- your caring responsibilities.
