A programme of change has started at Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust to review children and young people’s mental health services in line with local, regional and national developments.

If you have a personal or professional interest in our services we would value your input. You are invited to join us on 4 October for a morning of discussions about our current services.

It is part of the NHS long term plan that by 2023/24 there will be no age based thresholds and services m ust adapt to better meet the needs of 18 to 25 year olds across our services.

We would like our children and young people, parents and carers and partner colleagues from ICS, primary care, education, local authority and voluntary sector partners to join us for an event to discuss how we can transform local

mental health services and increase the age for Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Service (CYPMHS) up to 25 years.

We will discuss our current services and how they may be delivered differently. There will be a presentation and an opportunity for questions with a 'round the table' discussion and we would value your input and contribution.

Please join us on 4 October 2022, 9.30am to 1pm at the Learning Training and Conference Centre, South Road, Liverpool L24 9PZ (in Theatre).

Lunch will be provided so please let us know any dietary requirements.

If you would like to attend, please email Lyndsay Bedford to confirm your place Lyndsay.Bedford@merseycare.nhs.uk
