Southport & Formby Special Athletes
Southport & Formby Special Athletes aims to provide sports training and competition for people with learning disabilities of all ages (12 upwards) and ability levels, encouraging them to achieve their potential and increase their self-esteem.Our activities can contribute to their physical and social development. Through successful experience in sport they gain confidence and build a positive self-image.
Activities
Our activities take place in the Southport College Sports Hall every Sunday morning (except when the Sports Hall is closed) between 10.00 am and 12.00 noon.
Football skills training takes place in the Sports Hall between 12 noon and 1pm.

Rounders
Skittles l
Badminton
We encourage our athletes to achieve their potential and compete at local and national events.
Football skills training is open to male or female athletes and prepares our athletes for tournaments with other groups within the area.
Several volunteer coaches are available each Sunday to help with all our activities.
