Maghull Wind Orchestra
Maghull Wind Orchestra is a community based symphonic wind orchestra boasting over one hundred members. The orchestra was set up in 1978, and after 40 years still provides an opportunity for local people to come along and play music together.

The aim of Maghull Wind Orchestra is to provide a high quality enjoyable and fun musical experience for all woodwind, brass and percussion musicians within the community regardless of age, ability or standard, with professional level directorship and without audition or fee.
Maghull Wind Orchestra stages regular public performances throughout the year and has performed at some very high profile events and venues. We perform a variety of wind orchestra works; from classical and modern music to traditional military band repertoire and symphonic film scores, and pride ourselves on our versatility and audience engaging programmes. Under the professional and enthusiastic direction of Phil Shotton, Maghull Wind Orchestra has established itself as an important and popular part of music in the North West.
