At Stedychefs Cookery School we want everyone in our community and beyond to have the opportunity to learn about food and cooking in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
We are really pleased to be able to run Life Skills Cookery Courses for adults and young people who may have a learning or physical disability.

- · basic sponges
- · cake decoration
- · and more
This will provide the basic skills employers are looking for in the Catering & Hospitality sector.
The Cookery School is located on Dunningsbridge Road in Bootle. We have the facilities to cater for classes of up to 7 students at a time. We keep these classes small to ensure that students get plenty of one to one tuition and support. The classes will run from 8am-12pm and 1pm-4pm. In this time the students will discuss the day’s lesson and the topic of choice e.g. vegetable cuts. They will do a written part of the topic and practical work where all progression will be logged and placed in the student’s records. We also run these courses to meet the needs of students with learning disabilities. We have all the facilities to cater for these students to ensure the best possible teaching environment.
