Developmental Paediatrics (South Sefton)

We are a second tier service for children between the ages of 0-16yrs, the nature of the services provided are as follows.

Children with developmental delay
Children with social and communication difficulties
Children with complex medical needs
Special educational needs assessments and advice to the local education authority
Enuretic service
Audiology service
ADHD assessment, treatment and monitoring
Child protection service covering physical, sexual and emotional abuse
Immunisation advice to G.P surgeries/school health nurses/ health visitors and at times counselling of patients
Liaison with other professionals caring for the child
