Leyland Road Methodist Church

Local Methodist Church open to all in the community offering activities & worship for all ages within the Christian ethos.  We hold a Parent & Toddler session, Children’s groups, meetings - to third age and coffee mornings.

Monday: 9.30am-10.30am Baby Boogie £1 0-4 yrs

Tuesday: 6.00pm-7.30pm Power station 7-11yrs

Wednesday: (every other week).From 7.00pm Neo's - Food,games,banter & chat - from 12 yrs.

Thursday: 10.00am-12.00pm Parent & Toddler Group £1 0-4 yrs

Luncheon Club:

The Luncheon club meets on the first and third Wednesday of the month at 12.30. The food is great and the menus are varied. If you would like to come, please book a place by contacting the office by the Monday prior to the meal. Call 01704 536648

Men's Breakfast:

The gentlemen from the congregation and friends meet monthly, usually on the third Saturday, at 8-30am for a fry up prepared by ace chefs Chris and Paul. We often have a speaker at this very popular fellowship group. Don't worry about booking in. Just turn up!

We also have an occasional walking group for the guys. We try to get out in the week every now and again and on Sept 18th we have a weekend in the Lake District... without wives!

Ladies Prayer Breakfast:

First Saturday of the month at 9-30am. Continental breakfast and an hour or so of prayer and reflection.

Ladies Badminton:  

Wednesday Mornings from 10-00am Meet during term times and, if you would like to join in, simply call in on any Wednesday morning.

Short Mat Bowls:

Thursday afternoons from 1-00pm - 4-00pm in the Church hall. Please bring a pair of flat shoes or slippers. See John Hayward for further details

Open Badminton Group:

This group meets on Monday evenings at 8-00pm during term time. More details from the church office or just pop in.

Ladies Fellowship:

This group meets on Tuesday afternoons at 2-30pm. If they're not in the parlour at church, they're probably at Dobbies for afternoon tea!
