Maghull Radio is Maghull's first and only digital radio station, bringing a wide range of shows to the local community. Our programmes, features and talk shows include input from community groups like the Scout Association and fascinating community champions, what's on guides for families, insights into local history and young people's issues.

All of this is regularly interspersed with great tunes, there's something for everyone. From shows that play Disney hits or funk and jazz, to well-loved classics and current chart hits, reminiscing about decades past and sing-a-long songs from the musicals.

The radio project was set up under Maghull Community Enterprises with money from The Portas Fund, a scheme to regenerate town and neighbourhood centres. The funding was obtained by Sefton Council and bid for by Maghull Community Enterprises. Maghull Town Council offered some space at Maghull Town Hall for conversion into a radio studio. The Maghull Radio management team planned, developed and now run the station, with the official launch on-air on 17th February 2014.

Since its launch the station has continued to develop its radio team and programmes. The project is completely community focused and driven.  Maghull Radio features local presenters and local content promoting Maghull and its thriving neighbourhood. There are now more than 30 team members, representative of all walks-of-life, from across the local area. There's always plenty to do, so volunteers are always welcome, and we offer full training.

Maghull Radio is a voice for Maghull. "Your Station.  Your way.  Your Community."
