Children's Occupational Therapy - South Sefton

The service provides a year round service to children with motor difficulties which impact upon their functional ability. Educational workshops are held for parents and carers of children with sensory processing problems. The service provides advice and support to children requiring equipment to maintain their daily function.

Close liaison with Sefton Equipment Stores enables the request and provision of equipment in the community.

The service is provided via Clinics, Workshops, Home and School settings, and equipment assessment.

Criteria: 0-18 years and 19 years in Special Education.

Registered with a Sefton GP or living and attending school in South Sefton.

Referrals are received from AHPs, Community Paediatricians, Health and Education Professionals. Referral forms can be requested by emailing or telephoning the contact information. We are looking to move to open referral.
