Friends of Moorside Park

The Friends of Moorside Park established in 2008, are a voluntary group of local residents interested in improving and promoting the Park. The group works in partnership with Sefton Council to improve the park, through gardening sessions, fundraising, events/activities and much more!

The Friends objectives

• To contribute to the maintenance, development and sustainability of Moorside Park as a community resource for the benefit and enjoyment of local people.
• To promote community ownership of the park by increasing its use by individuals, families, groups and organisations.
• To help develop and promote the educational, social and health benefits of the park’s facilities.
• To help improve the park environment.
