Alder Hey Specialist Palliative Care Team provides consultant led specialist palliative care to children with cancer and other life threatening and life limiting conditions. The philosophy of the service is primarily to support other professionals as well as working directly with the patient and their family when indicated. The scope of the service includes pain and symptom management, psychological, social and spiritual care.
