We are a friendly local tennis club in the heart of Southport. Founded in 1920, we have a proud history of bringing tennis to the heart of the community. Our top class facilities include 4 all-weather astroturf courts, 2 hard courts and a modern clubhouse designed for social events. Home to the S&D Division 1 Champions six years running.
Sphynx is one of the most established tennis clubs in Southport, providing our community with the highest quality tennis facilities all year round. Our friendly club is run by its members, to ensure a welcoming, fun and sociable environment for all.
Chris Parkes Tennis Academy
The club is also proud to be the home of the Chris Parkes Tennis Academy, which offers some of the leading tennis coaching programmes in the North of England. The coaching team is led by Chris Parkes, former Lancashire Coach of the Year who represented Great Britain as a Junior alongside the likes of Andy Murray.
