Art Group: We are a group of amateur artists of varied abilities, learning water colour painting techniques. The group is led by members of Grace whose aim is to enjoy art in a friendly Christian atmosphere The Art Group is open to all who wish to improve their painting skills.
English Class: We are a conversational English class for those for whom English is not their first language. We have students from many different countries, including Poland, Lithuania, Portugal, Latvia and Iran. The course is non-certificated so takes place in a relaxed atmosphere.
Holiday at Home: Many do not have as much opportunity for holidays away, but we can enjoy being together as God’s people. Holiday at Home is open to all over 60s connected to the church in any way and it is an opportunity to fellowship together informally, shares our faith, have fun & eat well.
Target: Men of all ages, who enjoy, value, and see the benefits and blessings of studying God’s Word together, and benefiting from each others’ experience – and experiences. The meeting usually has a 50 year age range! Most are from Grace, but others associated with us are very welcome.
Ladies Fellowship: We are a group of Christian Ladies who are keen to share the message of the Bible. Everyone is welcome whatever age.
Mens Fellowship: A group of men, from Grace and some from other local Christian fellowships, who enjoy meeting together to praise God, hear good ministry of His Word, and share together in the things of the Lord.
Youth Programme: We like to keep our children busy at Grace, and so we provide activities for all ages, throughout the year. Read on for more details about our youth programme, then call us on 01704-531 751.
Junior Church: We love to learn about what God teaches us in the Bible, and so each Sunday, in addition to our regular morning worship service, we offer youth activities ranging from a crèche, through regular Sunday School, all the way up to teens.
Footprints is a ‘parent and toddlers’ group for pre-school children run by Christian mums who are members at Grace. We are motivated by our faith to share the love of Jesus and aim to provide a warm, friendly atmosphere, where we hope you will soon feel at home and get to make friends.
5 Alive is a group for Infant school aged children (Reception class until end of Year 2). It is run by a team of 4-6 leaders who are experienced at working with children (some of the team are qualified teachers), and who are members of Grace Baptist Church. We are motivated to engage children and to share bible teachings in a practical and fun way.
Friday Club is a youth club run by Christians from Grace Baptist Church. It is for children in school years 3-6. We aim to share what the Bible teaches us about Jesus with the children, and for them to have a fun time in a safe environment.
Ignite We are a lively group of young people (secondary school) who meet on a Friday evening to have fun through a range of activities, enjoy each other’s company and hear God’s good news to us all. Ignite is staffed by a team of Christians at Grace who enjoy sharing God’s word and getting to know young people.
