Child in Mind Ltd exists to promote and facilitate the emotional health and wellbeing of children and families.  Our services provide a holistic wrap around approach that will reach not only children and their families, but also the professionals who are involved with them.

Whether the service you require is for a specific child or to meet the needs of children within a professional setting, Child in Mind Ltd can help. We have experience of working with both the private and public sector, within health, education, and social services.

Emotional distress in children

Most children will experience emotional difficulties at some point during their development, and with care and support they can usually be helped through these difficult times. However, sometimes children need additional help, particularly if they have experienced a significant life changing event or trauma.

Parents and carers, teachers and other professionals involved with the care of children should be alert to changes in the child's behaviour. It is important that the behaviour itself is not seen as the problem, it is merely the child's answer to the underlying problem.

Child in Mind Ltd works with children throughout Cheshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside, utilising a variety of approaches, such as Play Therapy, Filial Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, and Attachment-Based Therapies. We will sensitively work with families to find the approach that is most suited to your child's needs.
