Diabetes - Litherland

Sefton have a Community Diabetes Team whose nurses can be accessed by referral by your GP or consultant.

You can also access 'Drop in' clinics, with no appointment needed. The ‘drop in’ clinics are mainly for problems with meters, insulin pens and for general advice. If a person needs further investigation / advice / changes in medication an appointment will be arranged for them to see a Diabetes Specialist Nurse for a full assessment.
