Assessment and Immediate Care Service
The Assessment and Immediate Care Service based at Clock View Hospital, Walton, provides emergency, urgent and routine assessments for people from North Liverpool, South Sefton and Kirkby who need adult mental health services, and for people under the care of Mersey Care community mental health teams, who need to be admitted to an acute inpatient ward.
We work closely with GPs and other referrers in order to sign-post the most appropriate care setting.
(This service moved from the former Stoddart House at Aintree University Hospital.)
