Community Network Groups providing pre, during and post diagnosis support and learning, coaching and mentoring for families living with a child/young person living with a Neurodevelopment condition (including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, Aspergers, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Sensory Processing Disorder, speech, language and communication needs), SEN and disability.

What we provide:

  • Community based solution focused drop in for families (and supporting professionals)
  • Solution focused family learning programme for families with a child or young person presenting/living with a Neurodevelopmental condition with specific learning around ASD, ADHD and Sensory Processing Difficulties.  This family learning programme is run over 6 sessions with access to additional supporting workshops
  • Awareness raising training for families with a child or young person presenting with/living with a Neurodevelopmental condition with specific learning around ASD, ADHD and Sensory Processing Difficulties. This ½ day awareness raising session is particularly suitable for parents, kinship carers, grandparents and extended family to gain an introduction to Neurodevelopmental conditions and who may not be able to attend a full 6 session learning programme
  • Creative arts after school and holiday activities for children up to age 11 in partnership with the Black-e
  • Young people’s monthly evening group activities (for young people aged 12-19)
  • Siblings monthly evening group activities
  • Telephone and skype support

 For professionals: 

  • Solution focused drop in for supporting professionals (and families)
  •  Awareness raising training for professionals supporting families with a child or young person presenting/living with a Neurodevelopmental condition.  This full day’s training will include workshops to increase knowledge and understanding of the impact of living with Neurodevelopmental conditions and will be delivered in partnership with a range of professionals from across the Neurodevelopmental partnership.
