If you cannot find a particular service, do not know what service you need, or want general advice and information, please call the RNIB Help line. Alternatively, you can contact us at our offices in London, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Belfast. RNIB Help ln Campaigning to ensure proven treatments for sight-threatening conditions are available on the NHS.
Whether you have just been diagnosed or have a long-term eye condition RNIB offer a range of services to help you live with sight loss:
- At the eye clinic - support if you have just been diagnosed
- Independent living - housing issues, welfare rights and financial advice
- Technology - advice on how technology can help you increase your independence
- Children, young people, and families - social, sporting and activity clubs and events
- Work - finding work, developing career skills, and setting up a self-employment enterprise
- Drop-in centres - resource centres and shops, mobile sight loss information

If English isn't your first language
We can arrange for interpreting services over the phone, quickly in over 200 languages, so please don’t hesitate in reaching out to us even if English isn’t your first language.
Text relay service
If you have hearing loss, speech difficulties or are Deaf blind, you may find it easier to contact our Helpline using a text relay service called Relay UK. It can read aloud your written responses or type your spoken responses.
You can access the Relay UK service via an app on your a smartphone or tablet, or through a Textphone (also known as a Minicom or Uniphone).

RNIB Info Line – Information that talks
If you would like to hear helpful information on sight loss when our Helpline is closed, call the RNIB Info Line on 0203 432 1488 at any time of the day. It's a recorded information service created for people wanting to know more about sight loss. With our Info Line, you can access spoken information without having to wait in line for an adviser.
