Merseyside Jewish Community Care (MJCC)
We offer caring services to people facing a crisis or needing longer term support. MJCC's Care Team works with Jewish children and their families offering practical and emotional support.
We provide advice, information, support, befriending, counselling, daytime well being activities, carers services, kosher meals service and links and referral to other care agencies.
In order to access support or to attend the activities and clubs, a person needs to contact us to be assessed as it is a needs led service.
The aim of the clubs is to provide a kosher meal, company, warmth, relief from isolation and is in keeping with the Jewish ethos which MJCC aims to encourage and provide.
Clubs and activities:
Luncheon Clubs
For senior citizens are run by MJCC on regular days each week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday).
The focus of the clubs is to provide health and wellbeing activities, a nutritious kosher meal, an opportunity to socialise in a warm safe environment and regular contact with friendly MJCC staff and volunteers.
