The Climbing Hangar: Climbing kids and adults

Welcome to the Hangar

The Climbing Hangar started life in a Liverpool warehouse in 2011. Since then we’ve grown to become a national business with four sites, 70 employees and over 12,000 climbers coming through the doors every month (4000 of whom are Hangar members).

Our mission is simple – to help our customers lead happier, healthier and more connected lives through climbing.

We are passionate about climbing. But more importantly we’re passionate about the impact that a social, challenging, supportive, progressive and fun activity can have on people’s lives, regardless of ability, age or fitness. Everything about the Hangar experience is designed to be easy to access, inclusive and friendly so you feel right at home, right away.

We have ambitious plans for the next few years, and we’re inspired to keep getting better by the experiences and stories of the people who climb with us every day. So thank you to everyone who has been part of the Hangar story so far, and to everyone else, we look forward future adventures. #boldertogether

Notes

Although fun and generally safe when properly supervised, boudlering is a risky activity and anyone participating must ensure that they are aware of the dangers before starting their session. You will be required to complete a waiver before your first climb and you may be asked to leave the premises if staff feel you're not taking the required safety precautions, either with regard to yourself or your kids.

Please note that children under four must be supervised by an adult one to one. Children between 7 and 14 must be supervised at a ratio of no more than two children to one adult. If your group doesn't meet these requirements you will be asked to find an additional adult to supervise or you'll not be allowed in. It's our insurance policy requirement and we have to stick to it, so please be patient with our staff and undernstand that they're just trying to keep you and your kids safe.

Parents who are supervising but not climbing are not required to pay entry.

Pre-register for a discount on entry.
