Anchor Folk Club
Anchor Folk and Music Club, in Birkdale, Southport.
Tuesday afternoons, 2 to 4 pm. Set in a comfortable lounge with a finely tuned piano.
No membership charges and free admission. Although we are not licensed, we make a great cup of tea.
Come and sing your songs, play your tunes or just come and listen, you will be made very welcome. We play all sorts of music.
On-site parking is limited to Blue Badge holders, but there is ample on-road parking.
The 15a, 47, 49 and X2 bus all pass us, and Birkdale station is a short walk away.
All for free, except tea or coffee 30p.
