Access Sefton provides talking therapies for people with anxiety, depression and other similar difficulties. The service is free and funded by the NHS.
Who can use the service?
Anyone aged 16 year and over who lives in Sefton and is registered with a GP is able to access our service.
How do I arrange an appointment?
You can self-refer online or you can call us directly on 0151 955 3210 to arrange an appointment. Alternatively, you can contact your GP to request a referral to this service. Once we have received the referral, a member of the administration team will contact you to arrange an appointment.
Where does the therapy take place?
Therapy can take place in a variety of community venues and GP surgeries, as well as over the phone where this is appropriate. We will work with you to find somewhere suitable and convenient.
How do I contact Access Sefton or make a referral?
You can call us on 0151 955 3200 or you can refer yourself to our service using an online form (click for details) alternatively you can email us. You can also speak to your GP about a referral to Insight Talking Therapies.
In the event of an emergency, if you are unable to keep yourself safe, you should contact your GP or call 999.
