Maghull Parish Handbell Ringers
The Maghull Parish Handbell Ringers are a friendly community team of amateur musicians. We play a variety of music from sacred to secular throughout the year and to a variety of audiences. Warning: Handbell ringing is addictive and may lead to social interaction.
Over the years we have played concerts at many venues including the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool, the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool as well as both of Liverpool's cathedrals, retirement homes, masonic lodges, pubs and clubs and in far reaching places such as America, Canada and Australia. We have appeared on both television and radio, and taken part in handbell events in the USA, Canada, Australia, England, Scotland and Wales.
We currently have a junior group of about 6 ringers who have called themselves the 'Mini Minims' and meet from 7.00pm on a Monday night. We are always looking for new members to join in.
If you would like to find out more about handbell ringing, book a concert or a talk, or arrange a workshop, please send us an email. If you would like to join the team and live locally to Maghull which is situated about 12 miles north of Liverpool send an email for further information.
