Southport & Ormskirk Hospital Voluntary Services

The Trust has about 250 volunteers supporting staff and patients across our hospitals and in community health services. These include welcomers at main hospital entrances, volunteers helping in the wards and in the hospital gym.

Community volunteers support the stop smoking team, psychology team and carry out patient surveys as well as helping at Trust events.

The Trust values its volunteers and recognises the make a difference they make on a daily basis to the lives to of our patients, families, visitors and staff.
