The Venus Centre

Venus is an organisation for women, young women, families and children. We provide support, advice and information and activities such as: Emotional support and befriending; advice and info on a range of issues; outreach and home visiting; volunteering; training and education; health and well being; drop-in services including, counselling service for women 16+, SAP programme and debt, benefit and housing advice.

We now run a life-skills course for women from our centre called the S.H.E. course. We also now have a minibus which can be loaned out to local organisations. We are currently in the process of setting up a care leavers’ centre.
